F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
My rates are relative depending on the size of the project, how much time will be required, and the size of the client. All of which is a nice way of saying, "I'm fully aware that a lot of bands that are just starting out don't have a lot of money to throw at artwork, and because of that i'm very flexible with my pricing."

I would rather the band grow and be able to pay me more in the future for my work than not allow them to grow because they were charged more then they could afford at the start.

DO YOU DO WEBSITES?
Yes and no. Technically, yes, I am capable of creating websites, but the plain truth is that I absolutely loathe doing them. I much prefer spending my time creating artwork that can be viewed in print form such as CDs, DVDs, clothing designs, etc. Hence the rather basic layout of this site.

The bottom line? I simply don't enjoy creating them.

WHAT DOES COYOTE GOSPEL MEAN? AND WHAT IS ITS SIGNIFICANCE?
"The Coyote Gospel" is the title of a story written by Grant Morrison from the comic book "Animal Man." The gist of the story is that it sets into motion a chain of events in which the writer and the character slowly "break down the fourth wall" so to speak, ultimately ending with the character 'meeting' his maker, the author, Morrison.

There is no particular significance other than I've always enjoyed the sound of the title, and the manner in which the story is executed. Rather an anti-climactic answer, no?

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS AND HOW MUCH FORMAL TRAINING DO YOU HAVE?
I've been working with art and design in one form or another nearly all my life. Somewhere around the age of 14, I made the transition between drawing and largely working with computers. In a never ending quest to improve the look of the fanzine I did as a teenager, I began laying it out entirely on the computer once I discovered Quark. Over the years that transitioned into creating flyers and posters for shows, which transitioned into CD layouts and clothing/merch designs for various clients.

As far as formal training goes, thats limited to a few art classes in high school, two semesters of photography in college, an illustration class and a figure drawing class before dropping out of college.
I suppose the bottom line is that I'm largely self-taught. However, I also feel that my portfolio and client-base speaks volumes to my capabilities.
